BRITISH VOGUE FESTIVE CALENDAR

In the warm Summer haze of July 2025, British Vogue reached out and asked me to immerse myself in more wintery climes. The illustrations for this year's Vogue Festive Calendar are a celebration of the Vogue editorial offices in all their elegance and chaos. The exterior illustration is an ode to two iconic London buildings,  the magazine's old home, Vogue House and their new offices at The Adelphi. I tried to pepper the imagery with narrative threads, recognisable faces and some nods to beautifully illustrated classic Vogue covers found in the Conde Nast archives. The interior is inspired by the famous Vogue fashion closet - packed to the rafters with beautiful designer clothing, gift bags and some subtle festive decorations. I wanted to give the design a feel of classical fashion illustration and tried to keep my brushwork fresh and textured, showing the human hand in the work.
